Drops!
Why do we manufacture Wonder Drops?
Wonder Drops are created exclusively to
enhance the concentration of cosmetic
(instant) bronzers in your sunless
solution. The cosmetic (instant) bronzers
is the color derived during application that
supplies that "instant gratification" which
often wow's the client!
Why would a tanning tech use Wonder Drops? The
benefits of Wonder Drops can be two fold.
·
For the Technician,
Wonder Drops allow a better visual during
application. The richer solution color, lets the
tech know exactly where spray has been applied, and
what areas still require application. This will
also give the Technician the ability to mix custom
solution color for a specific client.
·
For the Consumer,
Wonder Drops allow for more vivid instant color
while waiting for DHA color to build over the next
6-24 hours. The addition of cosmetic bronzers also
leave slight residual color, in effect enhancing
overall tanning results. These drops are ideal for
special event tanning when a client needs immediate
color results; such as:

our new Purchasing Manager. Mina's previous experience
includes a career in real estate where she held an office
for the Association of Realtors, also served on several
committees on the state and local levels, Mina has also
worked in travel industry for ten plus years working in
reservations, customer service and operation for a major
travel corporation. Mina is a mother of two, Ryan and Rachel
and wife of 24 years to husband, Greg.
Mina shares, "I am very excited about the opportunities and

Magazine's Building Blocks section. We would like to

Your client shields
herself from the sun to save face, but she yearns for a
bronzed glow. You've mentioned sunless spray tanning,
but the fear of chemicals makes her shy away. That
might not be the case if you offered her an organic
solution.
Rick Norvell, owner of
Norvell Sunless Spray Systems (NorvellTanning.com), says
that his Organic Tanning Solution gives eco-conscious
clients fresh-from-the-beach color. This process
begins with the water. Typically, solutions are made
with chemicals that keep them from oxidizing. Norvell
compares it to wine, which spoils when exposed to air for
too long. Not only that, but many minerals found in
water, such as iron, react negatively with DHA (dihydroxyacetone),
the ingredient in tanning solutions that generates pigment
in the skin. The result is an uneven,
undesirable-looking tan.
Norvell found a way
around these issues via special processing and airtight
packaging that earned eco-certification for the solution.
The water used for the Organic Solution is UVC-filtered.
"This kills any living matter, such as bacteria and fungus,
and extracts minerals," he says.

5 Tips: Spray The Right Way
April 2009 - Looking Fit

Here are some hints & tips for achieving
a perfect sunless airbrush application:
1.
Remember to always spray enough solution in a single pass to
make the skin wet, as opposed to spraying several light
coats. Applying enough solution in one application allows
for ample solution absorption. Multiple coatings will not
absorb properly and may cause uneven results.
2. Remind clients not to use any product designed to hold
moisture in the skin during the 24 hours prior to their
sunless application. Moisturizers create a barrier between
the skin and the sunless solution which impedes the
absorption of DHA.
3. Many technicians voice concerns when it comes to applying
solution to hands and feet. When applying solution to hands,
it is best to spray in an “X” pattern beginning at the tip
of the pinky. Spray up and across the hand to the base of
the wrist, as if you were moving from 4 o’clock to 10
o’clock. Then move to the tip of the thumb, and spray up and
across the hand to the base of the wrist, as if you were
moving from 8 o’clock to 2 o’clock. Spraying in this pattern
will create an even blend into the wrist and arm, and will
help avoid a darker band around the wrist. For the feet, I
have found that the best way to solve spray issues is to
take a 1-gallon jug, and fill it with sand or gravel to
weigh it down. When you are ready to spray the feet, have
the client raise their foot and place it on the top of the
jug—as if it is a pedestal and the client is getting their
shoe shined. Lifting the foot off the ground allows the
solution to naturally wrap the foot evenly and eliminates
the overspray mess when spraying the foot directly on the
floor.
